On Saturday 26th September The Adrenalin Jungle showcased the Segway experience as part of The Big Wheels Big Day out Festival.
The Big Wheel is a council run initiative that tries to encourage environmentally friendly transport modes in the city, with the aim to save money, save time & save the environment.
The Big Day Out was a free festival and included street performers, live music, creative workshops and a luminarium as well as our very own Segway Experience.
From 11 till 4 o’clock we had around 150 people come and have a go on the Segways and at some points the queues were 40 deep waiting to have a go at our unique event ! 

This was a really successful day and The Segways were one of the star attractions.

So, for a week in February the whole country seemed to grind to a holt over a bit of snow. Trains were cancelled, buses didn’t run, staff didn’t get into work, schools closed their doors, power supplies went down and the whole of the Midlands was hit hard.

But what happened at The Adrenalin Jungle? Well, we opened as normal, every event ran and they were some of the best events The Jungle has seen in a long while.

30 Quaders had a fabulous Winter Wonderland Type Trek round the woodland, we took Off Road Driving to new limits and even the Segway eased its way through the 6 inch deep snow.

Don’t forget all these activities are available to book through our main site and whilst we can’t guarantee the snow, we can guarantee whatever the weather, you’ll still have a great time.

Following the launch of our exciting new Segway experience we have had various trial runs and tried to get as many people as possible to give it a go.

We have famously had a 63 year old through our Assault Course, now we have beaten that with a 74 year old granny on our Segway. Patricia Stanesby can be seen in the picture evidence below!

After her experience she asked where she could get one from so she could use it to go shopping on!
