The Adrenalin Jungle was proud to play host to a delegation of young people from Russia who were attending a Robin Hood Camp.

28 students and 6 staff took part in our Jungle Combo which obviously included Archery in the heart of Sherwood Forest.

All communications had been via email up until the group arrived with us on Tuesday the 9^th of August and we would like to congratulate the organisers of the event, especially Xenia Bejenar for the fantastic co ordination and communication.

The group arrived on time to the minute, all those attending had completed all paper work prior to arrival, teams had been formed with an even spread of ages ability’s and English / Russian speaker so all could be kept up to speed with what was happening.

Whilst the above may not sound that impressive, to us compared to some youth groups traveling to us locally, it’s amazing!

As The Adrenalin Jungle continues on its quest for Segway domination in the midlands we are proud to announce trial days at 2 more venues, Cotgrave Country Park and Rutland Water (Sykes Lane Car Park). The Jungle Segway Tours  are running on the following dates

At Cotgrave:
17^th July
21^st August
18^th September                            

At Rutland
24^th July
14^th August
11^th September

The events offer members of the public an opportunity to either “Have A Go” or “Take A Tour” around the specific venue at heavily subsidised rates of just £3.00 for the “Have A Go” and £10 for the “Take A Tour”

Our Wollaton Hall events are still running on the last Sunday of every month with exclusive events still available at our Sherwood Forest venue.

You may notice that the Sherwood Forest event is more expensive but it is sold as an exclusive event and does give guests more than double the ride time with access to a far wider range of terrain - from flat glades to humps, hollows and slops, ideal for the 1^st timer but capable of testing even the most experienced of Segway riders.

While every effort is made by The Jungle staff to put blogs up regularly we are not as good at doing it as we should be, however there is some irony in this BLOG.

Adrenalin Jungle has been working closely with the Clumber Park Hotel to transform a section of woodland adjacent to the hotel into ‘The Clumber Jungle’ so corporate guests can hold conferences and then team building and fun based events all at the same location.

Whilst we were designing the layout of The Clumber Jungle (way back in March) Clumber Park Hotel played host to the cast and crew of the Time Team program, who expressed an interest in the Segway circuit we were putting in. So the Adrenalin Jungle team took our Segway X2’s over to give the cast and crew of Time Team a ride around The Clumber Jungle.

If you have not spotted the irony it’s that this blog is so old and out of date it could have been dug up by The Time Team themselves!
