Can you think of any connection between archery and dangerous driving? No we couldnt either! However the TV programme ‘Police Camera Action’ thought differently.

Adrian Simpson arrived at The Jungle on a rainy, miserable day in April to film within our Archery Arena. The idea behind the filming was to act as a visual aid to demonstrate the risk that people take when pulling out from a junction without looking - you wouldnt walk out into the path of a flying arrow, so watch what you’re doing on the road.

This is due to be aired in Summer on ITV1, so look out for the Jungle!

As part of a Derbyshire Homes Team day out, Barbara along with 28 of her fellow care home staff enjoyed a special day at the Jungle. The group took part in a number of team building and outdoor activities such as Blind fold 4 x 4 Driving, The Jungle Challenge and of course the dreaded Assault Course.

Sharon, the organiser of the day commented that all feedback had been great with all of their staff loving the day and that they were even thinking of doing it all again next year!
